What are player evaluations?

Little League player evaluations are only for Baseball AAA and Majors divisions, as well as Softball Minors and Majors divisions. While they are not tryouts, they help the league assess each player’s skills including batting, fielding, throwing, and running. The primary goal of these evaluations is to ensure that teams are balanced and competitive. By evaluating players, coaches and league organizers can distribute talent evenly across all teams, which promotes fair play and enhances the overall experience for everyone involved. This process helps prevent any single team from being overly dominant, ensuring that games are more enjoyable and competitive for all participants.
